Clamp the secondary shaft in a vice with soft material pads, remove the thrust washer and the hub of the sliding clutch of the synchronizer of III and IV gears with a bronze bushing.
Remove the 3rd gear pinion, bronze bushing and needle bearing from the secondary shaft.
Install the secondary shaft on the press with support on the 2nd gear pinion (it is prohibited to use the shaft flange as a support) and remove the 2nd and 1st gears, synchronizer rings, bushings and adjusting ring from the shaft (see photo).
Gears of the third and fourth gears are pressed from the intermediate shaft onto a press after removing the retaining ring.
