Make sure the battery voltage is normal.
Connect the voltmeter between the "D+" terminal of the generator and the "ground".
Measure the voltage, which at a crankshaft speed of 2000 rpm should be within 13.5-14.6 V.
If the regulated voltage is not within the specified limits, the voltage regulator must be replaced.
