Removal and installation the alternator drive belt
Note: If the drive belt is to be used in the future:
- mark the direction of movement.
- put the drive belt back on in the same direction.

Caution: Risk of damage to the drive belt tensioner. The use of a screwdriver is not permitted.
1. Insert the 1/2-inch square socket wrench extension into the socket on the drive belt tensioner.

Caution: The belt tensioner is under spring pressure.
2. Carefully and slowly depress the drive belt tensioner using the 1/2-inch square-end socket wrench extension and lock with tool 113340.
3. Remove the drive belt.
4. Check the belt for traces of coolant and oil and replace if necessary.
Caution: If the drive belt becomes contaminated with hydraulic fluid, it is essential to replace it.

5. Install the drive belt as shown in the figure.
Attention: Check that the drive belt is correctly positioned on the pulleys.
