Remove the fan guide shroud.
Remove the fan.
Disconnect the coolant drain hoses.
Remove the bracket located behind the radiator inlet hose.
Loosen the alternator drive belt tension.
Remove the TDC sensor from the holder.
Remove the vibration damper from the hub.
Remove the timing belt cover.
Set the piston of the 1st cylinder to TDC. In this case, the arrow stamped on the toothed pulley of the camshaft should coincide with the mark on the cylinder head, and the mark on the crankshaft hub should coincide with the mark on the thrust flange of the torsional vibration damper.
Mark the direction of rotation on the toothed belt.
Loosen the tension roller mounting bolts and move it towards the engine.
Tighten the tension roller lock bolt in this position.
Remove the timing belt. After this, do not turn the crankshaft and camshaft of the engine.
Tighten the pivot bolts and timing belt tension roller mounting bolts.
Check the marks again to ensure the correct position of the crankshaft and camshaft.
Adjust the ignition timing.
Remove the distributor cap and make sure that the rev limiter mark is aligned with the mark on the distributor housing.

Make sure the timing belt is not damaged externally. If so, replace it.
Place the toothed belt first on the crankshaft toothed pulley and then sequentially on all other pulleys in the direction of rotation of the crankshaft.

Loosen the tension roller lock bolt.
Turn the engine crankshaft 1-2 turns counterclockwise using the ratchet and 1/2-inch drive square inserted into the camshaft end to tighten the timing belt. In this case, the spark plugs must be turned out.
