Removal water/replacing diesel engine fuel filter (BMW 7 Series E32)

Water from the fuel filter should be removed every 10,000 km or once a year, and the filter should be replaced every 40,000 km. A suitable container is needed to collect the water.

Caution: Any leaking diesel fuel must be removed from rubber parts immediately (coolant hoses), otherwise these parts will be damaged over time.
