Diesel particulate filter (engine M47 T2) (BMW X3 E83)

Removal and installation the diesel particulate filter (m47 T2 engine)

Caution: Perform these tasks only on a cold engine.

1. Support the exhaust system with tool 312220.



2. Unscrew the fastening nut.

Note: When installing, it is necessary to replace the sealing gasket. Replace the self-locking nuts.

3. Unscrew the threaded connection of the diesel particulate filter (1) and remove the filter.

Note: When installing, it is necessary to replace the sealing gasket. Replace the self-locking nuts.

4. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
