Removal and installation the front muffler (n47 engine)
Caution: Perform these tasks only on a cold engine.
1. Remove the exhaust system.
2. Measure the length of the pipes on the new front additional muffler.
3. Transfer the dimensions to the faulty front muffler and mark the cutting line.
4. Cut the exhaust pipe using tool 002210 along the markings and remove burrs from the edges.
Note: Remove burrs with a regular tool.
Note: Position the clamping sleeve so that the nuts are facing down, the joint is in the middle of the sleeve and there is sufficient space for adjacent parts.
5. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
Note: After installation, the exhaust system must be checked for leaks.
