Removal and installation the diesel particulate filter (m57 TU/M57 T2 engine)
Caution: Perform these tasks only on a cold engine.
1. Remove the right engine mount bracket.
2. Completely remove the exhaust system.
3. Disconnect the hose (1).
4. Unlock and remove the connector (2).
5. Unlock and disconnect the connector (2).
6. Unlock and disconnect the connector (3).
7. Remove the screw.
Tightening torque: 6 Nm.
8. Remove the V-shaped clamp (1).
Note:
- After each removal, the V-clamp must be replaced.
- Replace the sealing gasket.
9. Remove the screws (1).
10. Unscrew the screws (2).
11. Remove the diesel particulate filter.
12. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
Note: After installation, the exhaust system must be checked for leaks.
