Removal and installation the diesel particulate filter (n47 engine)
Caution: Perform these tasks only on a cold engine.
1. Remove the soundproofing casing.
2. Remove the microfilter housing.
3. Remove the unit protection panel.

4. Disconnect the connectors (1).
5. Release the cable from the holder.

6. Press the lock (1) with a screwdriver and move the exhaust gas pressure sensor (2) downwards in the direction indicated by the arrow.

7. Press the clamps (1) apart.
8. Move the lambda probe connector (2) downwards in the direction indicated by the arrow.

9. Loosen the screw (1) of the clamp between the particulate filter (2) and the exhaust turbocharger (3).
Tightening torque: 15 Nm.

10. Unscrew the screw (1).
Tightening torque: 21 Nm.

11. Loosen the nut on the exhaust system bracket on the gearbox.
Tightening torque: 30 Nm.

12. Loosen the nut and disconnect the exhaust system from the diesel particulate filter.
Tightening torque: 51 Nm.

13. Loosen the bolts (1) and remove the diesel particulate filter (2) by moving it downwards.
Tightening torque: 21 Nm.
14. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
Note: After installation, the exhaust system must be checked for leaks.
