Removal and installation the starter (BMW 3 Series E21)

Disconnect the wires from the battery terminals.

Remove the air filter housing.

Disconnect the wires going to the battery and generator from the "30" plug of the starter, the black wire with a yellow stripe from the "50" plug, and the black wire with a red stripe from the "16" plug.

After unscrewing the fastening bolts, remove the starter.

The starter is installed in the reverse order, paying attention to the correct connection of the wires.
