The front axle of a BMW consists of a front axle beam, shock absorber struts, and sickle-shaped transverse levers. The anti-roll bar provides better grip of the front wheels with the road surface. Each of the shock absorber struts consists of a coil spring and a built-in shock absorber. The shock absorber strut is attached to the body at the top through a support bearing, and is bolted to the transverse lever at the bottom.
