Prompt service (BMW 3 Series E36)

Routine maintenance is performed every 10,000 km, but not less than once a year (preferably in spring) On a diesel engine, the engine oil should be changed every 7,500 km, but not less than once a year. Under severe operating conditions, for example, when driving mainly around the city and over short distances, frequently driving in mountainous areas, or using a trailer, routine maintenance should be performed twice as often.

• Engine: Oil and oil filter change.
• Diesel engines: Removing water from the fuel filter.
• Air filter: Checking the filter element.
• V-belts: Check tension and condition of all belts.
• Brake system: Checking the thickness of the brake pads. Checking and, if necessary, adjusting the handbrake.
• Throttle actuator: Lubrication, wear and ease of movement.
• Load-bearing body parts and chassis: Check for integrity and absence of corrosion.
• Power Steering: Checking Rods, Bolts and Oil Level (power steering).
• Checking the operation of all electrical consumers.
• Cooling system and heater: Check the coolant level and top up if necessary. Check the concentration of antifreeze.
