- Warm up the engine to operating temperature (coolant temperature 60°-80°).
- Raise the car.
- Diesel engine: Remove the protective tray under the oil pan.
- Place a container underneath to catch the oil.
- Unscrew the plug on the side of the oil pan and drain the oil completely.

Caution: Oil is hot! Risk of burns!
Caution: If a significant amount of metal shavings or friction objects are found in the drained oil, there is damage to the engine, such as crankshaft bearings or connecting rod bearings. To prevent consequences after the repair, it is necessary to clean the oil channels and oil hoses. Additionally, if installed, it is necessary to replace the oil radiator.
