Diagnostics of faults of fuel injection system of diesel engine (BMW 3 Series E36)

Before searching for the cause of the malfunction using the diagnostic table, the following conditions must be met: driver errors when starting the engine are excluded, the fuel tank is filled, the mechanical condition of the engine is normal, the battery is charged, the starter rotates the engine with a sufficient number of revolutions.

Caution: If it is necessary to disconnect the fuel lines, first clean them with a cold cleaner.
