After grinding, the thickness "A" of the flywheel should be at least 13.5 mm (see picture).

Grinding the flywheel (BMW 3 Series E21)
The plane of contact of the driven clutch disk on the flywheel must be smooth, without scratches and gaps. The scratches and gaps are removed by grinding.
After grinding, the thickness "A" of the flywheel should be at least 13.5 mm (see picture).
