Remove the gearbox. On vehicles with manual transmission, remove the clutch.
Where necessary, mark the position of the flywheel/drive plate on the crankshaft.
The flywheel/drive plate is attached to the rear of the crankshaft with eight bolts. Loosen and remove the bolts, then separate the element from the crankshaft flange.
To install the flywheel/drive plate to the crankshaft, apply liquid blocking compound to the bolts and progressively tighten them to the correct torque, working in diagonal sequence.
Then install in the reverse order of removal.
