2. On vehicles with manual transmission, disengage the clutch (see chapter Clutch).
3. Where necessary, mark the position of the flywheel/drive plate in relation to the crankshaft so that it can be installed in the same position later.
4. The flywheel/drive plate is attached to the rear of the crankshaft with eight bolts.

5. Using a socket and ratchet, loosen the eight flywheel/drive plate mounting bolts to the crankshaft flange - hold the flywheel/drive plate from turning by locking the ring gear with a lever
6. Be careful - the flywheel is quite heavy.
7. To install the flywheel/drive plate onto the crankshaft, apply a special thread sealant to the bolts and tighten them gradually, moving diagonally, to the required torque.
8. Perform the rest of the installation procedure in the reverse order of removal.
