After turning on the rear window heating, after some time the field with visible conductor lines should be cleared of precipitation or snow.
1. If there is a fault, first check the fuse in the fuse box.
2. If the fuse is OK, check the connection of the cable plug on the left and right side of the rear window. Clean off any corrosion if necessary.
3. If the rear window defroster still does not work after this, check the electrical wires and switch, as well as the relay, refer to Section Relay - general information.
