2. If the fuse is OK, check the brake light bulbs. Replace them if necessary.

3. Check the brake light switch. To do this, remove the cover above the brake pedal. Disconnect the switch connector.
4. Turn on the ignition.
5. Connect the short auxiliary wire between both contacts in the brake light switch plug. If the brake light now comes on, the switch is faulty and should be replaced.
6. Otherwise, check the light module.
