Disassembling a limited-slip differential (BMW 3 Series E21)

Loosen the eight differential case cover mounting bolts, remove the cover and take out the disc and thrust washers.



Turn the differential case over and remove from it in sequence the support washer, fixed disk, friction disk, pressure clutch, half-axle gear, satellites, half-axle gear, pressure clutch, friction disk, fixed disk, support washer, thrust and plate washers.
