Lubricate all friction surfaces of the differential parts with Molycote G or LM 48 grease.
Insert the disc and thrust washers into the differential case with the lubrication grooves pointing up, i.e. towards the discs.
Assemble the differential in the reverse order of disassembly before installing the thrust washer.
Insert the disc and thrust washers into the cover of the differential box, directing the lubrication grooves up, i.e. towards the discs.
Install the cover on the differential box and tighten the eight cover mounting bolts, having previously flushed them and applied a special adhesive such as Loctite to the threads.
Insert the output shafts into the differential box.
Clamp the output shaft flange in a vice and measure with a torque wrench the moment of resistance to turning the differential bearings, which should be within 30-50 Nm. In the event of a deviation from the norm, disassemble the differential again and install discs of the desired thickness.
Assemble the differential and recheck the moment of resistance to rotation of the bearings of the differential.
