Prepare fixture «13.5.281», container and rags for collecting fuel. Read information from the fault memory of the ECU-KSUD. If a problem is found, fix it. Erase the information from the ECU-ECU malfunction memory. Switch off the ignition and remove the soundproof and decorative covers.
Remove the ignition coil covers. Unlock and disconnect loops (1, fig. 5.197) from electric motors for driving eccentric shafts.
Attention! The fuel in the pipelines is under pressure, spilled fuel must be collected and sent for disposal.
Mark the loops (2) knock sensors and disconnect them from the wiring strips. Unclip cable harness (3). Unlock and disconnect the loop of the following elements:
- left and right distribution line on the cable box;
- throttle bodies;
- EMC;
- both temperature sensors;
- oil pressure indicator sensor;
- fuel tank ventilation valve;
- generator;
- differential pressure sensor;
- intake manifold adjustment motor;
- pulse sensors for the position of the left camshafts of the intake and exhaust valves;
- left eccentric shaft sensor.
Loosen the screws, remove the holders and move them towards the cable box. Remove the protective cap from the connection fitting (1, fig. 5.198) for connecting compressed air. Short pitch (push) compressed air (maximum pressure 2.5–3.0 bar) through fitting (1) squeeze the fuel out of the line into the fuel tank.
Remove bolts (arrows) and remove both branches of the distribution line towards the top. Unlock and disconnect the fuel hose, plug it with a tool «13.5.281» or plastic stopper.
Unscrew the screws, unfasten and disconnect the EMC injection loops. Remove the latches (1, fig. 5.199) and remove the nozzles from the outlet of the distribution line.
Before installing the injectors, replace the O-rings on the injectors (injectors). To facilitate the installation of injectors, lubricate the O-rings (round section) injectors (nozzles) injection of fuel with a thin layer of lubricant such as technical vaseline.
Read the information from the fault memory of the ECU-ECU of the DME system. Check received error messages and rectify them. Erase fault memory.
