Prepare the device "13.5.281", a container and a rag for collecting fuel. Read the information from the ECU-KSUD fault memory. If a fault is detected, eliminate it. Erase the information from the ECU-KSUD fault memory. Switch off the ignition and remove the soundproofing and decorative covers.
Remove the ignition coil covers. Unlock and disconnect the ignition coils (1, Fig. 5.197) from electric motors driving eccentric shafts.
Attention! Fuel in pipelines is under pressure, spilled fuel must be collected and sent for disposal.
Mark the knock sensor loops (2) and disconnect them from the electrical mounting strips. Release the cable harness (3) from the clamps. Unlock and disconnect the loops of the following elements:
- left and right distribution lines on the cable box;
- throttle bodies;
- EMC;
- both temperature sensors;
- oil pressure indicator sensor;
- fuel tank ventilation valve;
- generator;
- differential pressure sensor;
- electric motor adjustment on the intake manifold;
- pulse sensors of the left camshafts of the intake and exhaust valves;
- left eccentric shaft sensor.
Unscrew the bolts, remove the holders and move them to the side of the cable box. Remove the protective cap from the connecting nipple (1, Fig. 5.198) for connecting the compressed air. Briefly supply (push) compressed air (maximum pressure 2.5-3.0 bar) through the nipple (1) to squeeze the fuel out of the line into the fuel tank.
Unscrew the bolts (arrows) and remove both branches of the distribution line by moving it upwards. Unlock and disconnect the fuel hose, plug it with the device "13.5.281" or a plastic plug.
Unscrew the screws, unlock and disconnect the injection EMC shock absorbers. Remove the clamps (1, Fig. 5.199) and remove the injectors from the branch of the distribution line.
Before installing the injectors, replace the O-rings on the injectors (injectors). To facilitate installation of the injectors, lubricate the sealing rings (circular cross-section) fuel injectors (nozzles) with a thin layer of lubricant such as technical petroleum jelly.
Read information from the DME ECU-KSUD fault memory. Check received fault messages and eliminate them. Erase information from the fault memory.
