  • turn off the ignition;
  • remove the decorative cover;
  • remove the lower casing covering the engine;
  • remove the left and right ignition coil covers;
  • remove the middle panel of the engine auxiliary mechanism compartment;
  • unlock and disconnect the SS from:
    • throttle valve;
    • from left and right knock sensors;
    • from the oil pressure sensor;
    • from the temperature sensor on the thermostat;
    • from coolant temperature sensor;
    • from the left and right exhaust side solenoid valves;
    • from the left and right solenoid valves of the intake side;
    • from the fuel tank ventilation valve;
    • from the generator;
    • from the left and right branches of the distribution main;
    • from the left and right engines of the Valvetrnic system;
    • from the left and right VANOS exhaust camshaft position sensors;
    • from the left and right VANOS intake camshaft position sensors;
    • from left and right eccentric shaft sensors;
    • from the differential pressure sensor.
  • remove the wire harness from the guides;
  • unscrew the threaded fastening of the engine wiring harness to the intake manifold on the left and right sides.

The DISA actuator is located on the rear wall of the intake manifold (fig. 5.172). Unlock the shock absorber (1) and disconnect it from the DISA system actuator. Remove the bolts (3 pcs., arrows) fastening the unit. Remove the DISA system actuator unit (2) from the intake manifold.
