Disassembly

Remove the differential from the final drive gearbox.

Remove the mounting bolts on the housing cover.

Remove the housing cover.

Turn the case over and remove the contents.

Note: Lay out the parts in assembly order.

Check all parts for wear.

Assembly

Assembly is carried out in reverse order, taking into account the following.

To measure prestress, measure dimension A from the pinion to the outer lamella.

Measure dimension B on the lid.

Measure dimension B on the lid.

Place the disc springs with the same bends together and determine the dimension C.

To prevent the disc springs from being overtightened, it is necessary to maintain an installation gap of 0.1-0.4 mm.

Deviations from the installation gap are corrected by the thickness of the outer lamellas.

Assembly sequence: Adjusting washer (1), oil pockets point towards the housing (down). Place the disc spring (2) with the internal protrusion against the differential axle (up).

Insert the adjusting washer (1) into the cover with the oil pockets towards the cover, the disc spring (2) with the inner bend facing outwards and the washer with a nose (3) with the smooth side towards the disc spring and the nose in the groove of the cover.

Put on the cover with washers.

Insert the bolts and tighten them evenly.
