1. Remove the steering rod boot (see paragraph 24).
2. Unscrew the steering rod from the rack.
3. Install the new plate onto the rack. Make sure that the tabs on the plate match the grooves in the rack.
4. Screw in the steering rod and tighten it to the required torque.
5. Install the cover (see paragraph 24).
