1. With the engine stopped, fill the steering fluid reservoir with the recommended fluid.
2. With the engine running, slowly turn the steering wheel from lock to lock a few times to release air. Then stop the engine and add fluid to the reservoir. Repeat this procedure until the fluid level in the reservoir stops dropping.
3. If unusual noise comes from the pipes when turning the steering wheel, there is air in the system. Check it. Turn the wheels to the straight ahead position and stop the engine. If the level in the tank has risen, then there is air in the system and further pumping is necessary.
