1. With the engine stopped, fill the power steering fluid reservoir with the recommended fluid.
2. With the engine running, slowly turn the steering wheel from lock to lock several times to release air. Then stop the engine and add fluid to the reservoir. Repeat this procedure until the fluid level in the reservoir stops dropping.
3. If unusual noise comes from the pipes when turning the steering wheel, it means there is air in the system. Check this. Turn the wheels to the straight-ahead position and stop the engine. If the level in the reservoir has risen, it means there is air in the system and it is necessary to continue bleeding.
