Multifunctional steering wheel (BMW X5 E53)

The multifunctional steering wheel of the BMW X5 E53 (MFL) is equipped with control buttons (Fig. 1.13):
  • radio receiver:
  • air conditioner in recirculation mode;
  • steering wheel heating system;
  • cruise control systems;
  • voice control systems for telephone control.

By pressing the key (8) on the indexes "+" and "-" (Fig. 1.13), the actual speed is entered as the set speed and then increased "+", or the speed is decreased "-" and the achieved value is entered into the system memory when the key is released.
