The basic configuration includes an integral rear axle, power steering, a series of airbags with automatic seat belt tensioners, an automatic stability control system with a traction control (ASC + T) and a dynamic stability control system (DSC), a full power package and automatic air conditioning. All engines are on a subframe, front-mounted, in a longitudinal position. The car's transmission is equipped with a 5- or 6-speed manual gearbox (RCPP) or a 5-speed automatic gearbox (ATP), made with permanent all-wheel drive (4×4), with independent front and rear suspension.
The car is equipped with a self-adjusting gearbox control system (AGS), which calculates the most appropriate gear shift order for cars equipped with an automatic transmission. The place for the receiver is occupied by HiFi audio equipment with DSP (digital sound processor) and VHF range with RDS system (Radio Data System), which automatically selects the best reception quality if the radio station broadcasts on several frequencies. The interior has an automatic dimming rearview mirror, a passive heat accumulator, a body height control, a rain sensor, xenon headlights and a satellite navigation system. The display of the information and control system, also used as a TV screen, automatically switches off when driving.
Since autumn 2003, instead of a transmission with a fixed torque distribution (38:62), a system with an electronic control system for a multi-plate interaxle clutch that redistributes torque between the axles, combined with a complex dynamic stabilization system "DSC III" has been installed.
