Ski Carrying Case (BMW 5 Series E39)
The case can be used to transport up to four pairs of skis without worrying about their safety or the cleanliness of the interior.
Taking into account the length of the cover and the additional space in the trunk, skis up to 2.10 m long can be loaded into the car. When loading skis 2.10 m long, the capacity of the cover is reduced, so that it can accommodate no more than two pairs of skis of the specified maximum length.
(not intended for use with a vehicle that is equipped with a device for transporting long objects, please refer to the materials below)
1. Fold down the center divider armrest.
2. Remove the trim panel secured with Velcro and place it on the armrest.
3. Grasp the front of the armrest with one hand and the back of the armrest with the other hand and lift it up sharply (as shown by the arrow).
insert the armrest from the top and press it down until you hear it click into place in the holders.
Make sure that the side pins do not damage the seat upholstery.
1. Press the button shown by arrow 1. The tailgate will unlock.
2. Having brought together the fasteners shown by arrows 2, open the cover.
3. Straighten the cover and place it between the front seats. The zipper is designed to simplify access to the items loaded into the cover, as well as to dry it faster.
4. Attach the hinged loading hatch cover from the trunk side to the magnetic holders located on the bottom of the shelf behind the rear seat. Please ensure that only clean skis are loaded into the bag and avoid damaging the bag with sharp edges.
Skis or other long items loaded into the bag must be secured with a strap sewn onto the bag and tightened with a buckle designed for this purpose.
To remove the cover, proceed in reverse order.
1. Fold back the rear armrest divider, remove the trim panel secured with Velcro and place it on the armrest.
2. Press button 1 down and fold the cover forward.
3. Press button 2. The trunk lid will unlock.
