Connecting electrical appliances (BMW X3 E83)
You can use electrical appliances in your car with a power of no more than 200 W, powered by a 12 V network, (for example, a portable lamp or a car vacuum cleaner) if at least one of the nests listed below is present. To avoid damaging the socket, do not attempt to insert unsuitable electrical plugs into it.
Remove the cigarette lighter from the socket. On vehicles with a non-smoking package, the socket is covered with a lid.
Lift the lid up.
