Measure the length "A" (see picture) distance sleeve, which, for example, is equal to 78.9 mm.
Measure the distance "B" between the bearing surface of the outer bearing in the hub and the outer ring of the inner bearing, which, for example, is 75.8 mm.
According to the formula A - B - X = C determine the thickness of the hub bearing adjusting ring, where:
C — thickness of the adjusting ring;
A - length of the spacer sleeve;
B — distance between the support surface of the outer bearing in the hub and the outer ring of the inner bearing;
X is the value of the maximum permissible clearance of the hub bearings.
78.9 mm - 75.8 mm - 0.1 mm = 3.0 mm.
Install the selected adjusting ring and spacer sleeve.
Fill the hub and the seal lip with grease.
Press in the outer bearing and seal.
Install the wheel drive shaft.
Install the wheel drive shaft flange.
