Removal and installation the anti-roll bar (BMW 3 Series E21)
Removal
Disconnect the ends of the stabilizer bar from the suspension arms. Unscrew the nuts of the bracket mounting bolts that secure the stabilizer bar to the rear suspension crossmember, then remove the stabilizer.
Installation
Check the condition of the silent blocks, which are subject to replacement in case of breaks and one-sided "bulging" of the rubber, when their end surfaces are cut.
Install the stabilizer, while the slot in the cushions of the brackets for attaching the stabilizer bar to the rear suspension cross member should be directed towards the bottom of the body.
