Withdrawal
Disconnect the parking brake cable from the parking brake lever.
Disconnect the differential output shaft from the wheel drive shaft and remove the rear wheel.
Disconnect the telescopic strut from the suspension arm.
Disconnect the brake hose from the working brake system pipeline, taking measures to prevent leakage of brake fluid.
Disconnect the end of the anti-roll bar from the arm.
Pull out the parking brake cable and remove the growling suspension.
Checking the technical condition
Press the rubber-metal hinges out of the suspension arm using a press.
Using special tool 33 3 000, check that the hinge sockets in the suspension arm are not deformed by inserting a drift into the nick.
Before pressing in new rubber-metal joints, generously lubricate their outer surface with an aqueous solution of soapy liquid or special oil. Using a press, press the hinges with the shoulder outward into the sockets of the lever so that the end of the hinge is in the same plane with the surface of the hinge.
Installation
Attach the arm to the rear suspension cross member by tightening the mounting bolt nuts to the proper torque.
Attach a brake hose to the pipeline of working brake system. Attach the end of the anti-roll bar to the suspension arm.
Replace the telescoping strut and connect the wheel drive shaft and differential output shaft.
Connect the cable to the parking brake lever.
Bleed the hydraulic brakes and adjust the parking brake.
