Removal the water pump (BMW 3 Series E21)

Disconnect the wire from the "-" terminal of the battery.

Unscrew the radiator filler plug and open the interior heater tap, setting the switch handle to the "warn" position (warm air). Place a container under the engine to drain the fluid, disconnect the outlet hose from the radiator, unscrew the drain plug located at the rear of the cylinder block on the right, and drain the fluid.

Remove the radiator and fan.

Loosen and remove the alternator drive belt.

Disconnect the inlet and outlet hoses from the water pump and remove the water pump.
