Thoroughly clean the clutch mechanism and visually inspect the condition of the rivets and the fastening of the springs of the torsional vibration damper of the driven disk. Check the condition of the working surface and the plane of the friction linings using a straightedge.
Check the condition of the mating plane of the driven disk on the flywheel.
Check the thickness of the driven disc and friction linings.
