Through the V-belt transmission, the water pump and generator are driven from the crankshaft. When a wider V-belt is fitted, the crankshaft also drives the power steering pump. The four-cylinder engine manufactured until August 1993 with power steering has a second V-belt to drive the latter. When installing the air conditioner, the compressor on all models has a separate belt drive. Since the V-belts are installed in a sequential kinematic pattern, to remove the V-belt installed later, it is also necessary to remove the V-belts located at the front.
