The A/C compressor is driven via an extra wide V-belt with automatic tension.
Insert a hexagon socket wrench into the idler pulley bolt. By slowly turning clockwise, compress the hydraulic tensioning element -1-. Remove ribbed V-belt.
Fit a new ribbed V-belt according to the diagram shown, while pulling the tensioner to the right as far as it will go, as when removing. Pay attention to the position of the grooves on the pulleys.
Unload the tensioner pulley by releasing the hexagon socket head bolt wrench. The tension is determined by the tension element and is not adjustable.
