Place a strong screwdriver or similar lever against the tensioner, see figure. Press downwards to compress the belt tensioner and remove the V-ribbed belt.
Apply a new V-ribbed belt according to the diagram shown, squeezing the belt tensioner as when removing. Pay attention to the position of the grooves on the pulleys.
Unload the tension roller. The tension is determined by the tension element and is not adjustable.
Install the engine compartment protective tray.
Lower the car.
