the location of the drive belt on the pulleys of the engine auxiliary units is shown in Figure 4.124.

Caution: If the drive belt is contaminated with hydraulic fluid, coolant or oil, it must be replaced.
Before removing the drive belt, if you plan to reuse it, you should mark the direction of its rotation with a marker in the form of an arrow.
The generator drive belt must be replaced in the following order.
Remove the fan drive viscous coupling with its impeller (see fig. 4.17) and loosen the tension of the generator drive belt by slightly loosening the bolts (8 and 9, see Fig. 4.123). Remove the drive belt.

When installing the belt, make sure it fits tightly into the grooves (grooves) of the pulleys. Install on the hexagon (20, see Fig. 4.123) adjusting plate (7) open-end wrench. Turning the wrench, move the tensioner plate (7) to the end of the longitudinal groove (21) and tighten the M8 bolts (8 and 9) to a torque of 30 N·m (3.0 kgf·m).
The tension force of the roller is not adjustable; it will automatically set the required tension force of the generator drive belt.
