If you intend to continue using a removable belt, note the direction of its movement.
1. Remember the pattern of laying the belt on the pulleys.
Alternator drive belt
1. Remove the cooling fan drive clutch together with the impeller (see chapter Engine cooling, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems).
2. Giving away the bolts (1), loosen the belt tension and remove the belt (2).
If it is necessary to remove the tensioner completely, unscrew bolts 1 and 2.
3. Check the condition of the belt (see chapter Vehicle settings and routine maintenance) and replace if necessary.
4. Lay the drive belt over the pulleys and rollers and make sure it is in the correct position.
When installing a belt that has already been used, observe the previous direction of its movement.
5. Move the belt tensioner adjusting plate by the hex (1) to the end of the groove (2) and tighten the bolt (3).
Compressor drive belt K/V
1. Remove the alternator drive belt.
2. Give nuts (2 and 3) and remove the belt.
3. Check the condition of the belt (see chapter Vehicle settings and routine maintenance) and replace if necessary.
4. Lay the drive belt over the pulleys and rollers and make sure it is in the correct position.
When installing a belt that has already been used, observe the previous direction of its movement.
5. Move the belt tensioner adjustment plate by the hex (1) to the end of the groove and tighten the nuts in sequence (3) And (2).
