Torsional vibration damper



1. Remove the drive belts (see section Removal and installation accessory drive belts).

2. Loosen the bolts and remove the vibration damper.

The position of the damper is determined by the centering pin.


3. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Use new damper mounting bolts.

Damper hub



1. Remove the vibration damper.

2. Disconnect the generator blower pipe.

3. Remove the left and right brake blower channels. If necessary, remove the additional air supply hose (see chapter Fuel and exhaust systems). Remove the hose holder from the engine mount.

4. Pay attention to the position of the centering pin.



5. Install tool No.11 2 450.

To prevent damage to the engine mount, place a wooden block between the mount and tool No.11 2 450.


6. Loosen the central bolt and remove the vibration damper hub.

7. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Use new hub mounting bolt.
