Removal and installation the front instrument panel visors (BMW 3 Series E46)

Left front visor

Removal

Remove the left front visor "1" from the instrument panel. To remove it, you can use a plastic wedge "2", for example, HAZET 1965-20.

Installation

Install the visor "1" so that it enters with guides "2" into trunnions "3" and pins "4" into clamps "5". Press the visor firmly, if necessary, gently pat it with your palms.

Right front visor

Removal

1. Remove the right visor with a plastic wedge in the same way as the left one.





2. Install the front visor in place so that its pins enter the clamps "5". Press the visor firmly, if necessary, gently pat it with your palms.

Central visor

Removal

1. First remove the right visor as it overlaps the center visor.

2. Press the central visor...



3. from clamp "A" and remove.

Installation

1. Replace the center visor and press firmly on the left side. If necessary, gently press with your palms.

2. Install the right visor into place.
