Replacement of segment elastic coupling (BMW 5 Series E12)
The flexible coupling must be installed so that the arrows on it coincide with the cheeks of the cardan shaft flange or the flange of the gearbox output shaft. Failure to comply with this requirement may cause noise and rapid wear of the flexible coupling.
