Glow plugs with burnt out rods (BMW 5 Series E34)

Burnt glow plug rods are often the result of a malfunction of the injectors. These malfunctions cannot be attributed to a defect in the glow plug.



If such "arrow" glow plugs are detected, it is not enough to replace them. The injectors should be checked for jet, rattle, pressure and tightness (work at a service station),

It should be noted that with short, fast beats (4-6 cycles per second) good atomization and jet cutting occurred.
