When installing body parts, it is imperative to adhere to the prescribed clearance values (the width of the joints between the installed parts and the body), otherwise, for example, the door may jam, or there may be increased wind noise when driving. The gaps between the body parts must be the same along their entire length. A deviation from the prescribed gap value of no more than 1 mm is allowed.
The surfaces of the parts to be joined must be parallel to each other. In extreme cases, mixing into the inside of the body part located at the back by a value of not more than 1 mm is allowed. For example, the front edge of the rear door may be recessed inside the car by no more than 1 mm in relation to the rear edge of the front door.
