Removal and installation the stiffening plate
Attention:
- Observe safety precautions when lifting a vehicle.
- Driving without a stiffening plate is prohibited.
1. If necessary, remove the expansion rivets (1).
2. If necessary, unscrew the screws (2) and remove the cover (3).
3. Unscrew the screws (1).
4. Remove the expansion rivets (2).
5. Disconnect the rear panel of the unit protection and/or the screen from the stiffening plate.
6. Unscrew the screws (3).
7. Remove the stiffener plate.
Note: Screws must be replaced during installation.
Tightening torque: 74 Nm.
8. Replace the absorber, cover, cover with absorber and air duct.
Note: Only when replacing the stiffener plate.
