Removal and installation the camshaft (BMW 3 Series E21)
Removal
Remove the cylinder head and rocker arm shafts.
Remove the thrust flange and take the camshaft out of the cylinder head bearings.
Installation
Check the condition of the O-ring and the camshaft thrust flange seal and replace them if necessary.
Place the camshaft in the cylinder head supports and fit drift 11 2 212 onto its front end.
Install the camshaft thrust flange onto the mandrel and tighten its mounting bolts.
