
Drill a hole about 8mm deep into the rim just below the tooth valley using a 6mm drill bit.
Insert the chisel into the gap between the teeth of the rim and strike it sharply to split the rim.
Heat the new rim uniformly to 200-230°C and press it onto the flywheel with the chamfer on the inner diameter. It is recommended to use a thermochromic pencil to control the temperature.
Drive the rim onto the flywheel by striking it with a bronze drift.
