Disconnect the block from the control pressure regulator and attach the control wire BMW 61 1 440 to it.
Connect an ohmmeter to the connecting contacts of the thermal winding of the bimetallic spring of the regulator and make sure that there is no break in the thermal winding.
Connect a voltmeter to the control pressure regulator block and check the voltage with the engine running, which should be at least 11.5 V.
