Before checking the pressure, make sure that the oil level in the gearbox is normal (the difference in oil level between the "mini" and "maxi" marks on the dipstick is about 0.4 l).
Set the selector lever to position "P" and start the engine at idle speed.
Connect the curved hose 240023 to the control pressure gauge, the other end of which with the adapter fitting 240022 connect to hole 1 on the gearbox housing, having first unscrewed the plug.
Start the engine and bring the crankshaft speed to 1500 rpm. Disconnect the rod from the throttle control sector. Press the brake pedal all the way down, tighten the handbrake. Then check the operating pressure of the automatic transmission (see the values in the subsection "Detailed technical specifications") at idle and with forced engagement of a lower gear, first with the selector lever in position "R", and then by setting it alternately to position "D" ("A"), "2", "1", "R", "N" ("0").
